The Nencki Institute invites candidates for the new group leader position to be hired and funded through Dioscuri competition (https://www.ncn.gov.pl/dioscuri/). Dioscuri is a programme initiated by the Max Planck Society (MPG) and jointly managed with the National Science Centre in Poland (NCN). Positions are mutually funded by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The programme offers a very attractive conditions to establish a new research group in Poland for up to 10 years. The Nencki Institute has been selected as a prospective Dioscuri host that offers the top notch conditions to establish the research group. The offer includes an outstanding research environment, vibrant, young scientific community, access to the most advanced core facilities in the fields of bio-imaging (ranging from molecular to cellular up to human brain), genomics, and animal models of human diseases especially neuroscience and major human disorders (https://www.ncn.gov.pl/dioscuri/files/dioscuri-nz4-11.pdf).
