Professorial nominations to Jolanta Ejsmont-Karabin
On June 21, 2018, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, handed over professorial nominations. In the group of nominated academic workers of science and art, was prof. Jolanta Ejsmont-Karabin from the Nencki Institute.
The main subject of research conducted by prof. Jolanta Ejsmont-Karabin, is the ecology of zooplankton and zoopsammon, nutrient cycling in stagnant and running waters, as well as biology, taxonomy and ecology of rotifers (Monogononta and Bdelloidea). Professor Ejsmont-Karabin is the author of the identification keys to Polish Rotifera.
