Prof. Daniel K. Wójcik elected to the Board of Directors of the European Brain Council

Prof. Daniel K. Wójcik, Head of the Laboratory of Neuroinformatics at the Nencki Institute, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the European Brain Council (EBC). This prestigious distinction recognizes his commitment to advancing brain research.

The European Brain Council is a network of key players in health and brain research. The organization brings together scientific societies, patient organisations, professional societies, and industry partners. As a non-profit organisation based in Brussels, its main mission is to promote brain research with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of the millions of Europeans living with brain conditions, mental and neurological alike.

In an effort to develop a common position on research priorities and health policy in the field of brain health, the European Brain Council provides a platform for cooperation between member organizations and a wide range of stakeholders. It consistently promotes dialogue between scientists, clinicians, industry, and the public.
