Forest Lands

Białowieża – a village in the centre of the last of primeval forests in Europe, where people, animals and plants have coexisted for centuries. Environmental issues and tourism laid the foundation for deep changes in this region. Protection of this unique and fragile environment is far more challenging than one could expect. The film presents the unique life of this land – the life of a village and the forest, people and nature.
