This year they came to the Institute on March 4, 2013 to hear a talk by Prof. U. Sławińska on The history and achievements of the Nencki Institute and by mgr J. Chilczuk Viral vectors as tools used in gene therapy.

Next, the young visitors familiarized themselves with research conducted at 7 selected Nencki labs and had possibility to talk with lab’s bosses (programme included). Between March 5-8 scholarship holders participated in the activities organized by 7 labs at the Institute.

Workshop participants were very pleased with the experience and claimed to have broadened their knowledge and become familiar with modern equipment by being able to independently conduct the experiments and use their practical skills.
