Prof. Sławomir Pikuła awarded by the Polish Biochemical Society
Prof Pikuła has been awarded in recognition of his contribution as chief editor of the Postępy Biochemii journal (http://www.postepybiochemii.pl).
Prof. Sławomir Pikuła is an employee of the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences since November 1977. His research interests focus on the role of calcium ions in cell metabolism. He is a member of the Polish Biochemical Society, the European Calcium Society and the Biochemistry and Biophysics Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2003 he joined the Scientific Council of the Nencki Institute.
