Flow cytometry
Immunophenotyping
Description:

Immunofenotyping is the analysis of heterogeneous cell populations aimed at determining the presence and proportions of different groups of interest. Antibodies are used to identify cells by detecting specific antigens (markers) expressed by those cells. Immunofenotyping using flow cytometry is a method used to identify and sort cells in complex populations, for example in the analysis of immune cells in a blood sample.
