Reporting meeting of Nencki Institute’s Scientific Council

On 23 February 2024, the reporting meeting of the Scientific Council of the Nencki Institute was held. The meeting was attended not only by members of the Scientific Council and Institute employees but also by many guests invited, including representatives of friendly Institutes, which gave the event an open and interdisciplinary character.

The meeting started with an open part, during which diplomas for the best publications awarded in 2023 with the Director's Award were presented. Participants also had the opportunity to listen to short presentations of the results included in the awarded publications. These presentations were not only an opportunity to thank the authors for their contributions, but also to highlight the high level of research conducted at the Nencki Institute.

The Director, Professor Agnieszka Dobrzyn, presented a report on the Institute's activities in the past year. In her speech, she discussed in detail the achievements, challenges and upcoming development plans of the Institute. The report was accepted unanimously by the Scientific Council, and the Director received numerous congratulations and words of appreciation from the directors of friendly institutes present at the meeting.

As every year, the Reporting Scientific Council of the Nencki Institute not only provided an overview of the institute's achievements and activities, but also created an inspiring environment for the exchange of ideas and experiences between institute directors and researchers.
