On November 29^th a conference MITOCHONDRION 2016 will be held at the Nencki Institute. The conference program will include the scientific presentations of the metabolism of the cells bioenergy which will be delivered by the representatives of various scientific centers of Poland. The highlight of the conference will be a solemn session on the beautiful 90th anniversary of Professor Lech Wojtczak's birthday.

The organizers of the fifth MITOCHONDRION meeting are: the Nencki Institute PAS, Section of Bioenergy Polish Biochemical Society and the Polish Mitochondrial Network MitoNet.pl.
