We offer a job in the largest research institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The Nencki Institute is active in the fields of neurophysiology, molecular and cellular neurobiology, biochemistry, protein chemistry, cell biology, neuropsychology, bioinformatics and neuroinformatics. Scientific interests of the candidates should remain within research fields of the Nencki Institute.

The initial contract in this position is for 5 years, with a possible extension after positive evaluation of the candiadate’s achievements. We offer furnished laboratory space, adjusted to the individual needs of the successful candidate, as well as access to the Institute’s shared equipment. The selected person will be able to hire two persons.

  The selection process will be conducted by the Recruitment Committee established by the Director of the Nencki Institute. Short-listed candidates with the highest score will be selected for personal interviews. Interviews will take place at the Nencki Institute in the mid of November 2012. Results of the competition will be announced in December 2012.
